WILD AMERICA: FISHERS IN THE FAMILY - PART 1

Cinemavixion Review

This installment of 'Wild America' delves into the fascinating world of the Fisher, a creature often misunderstood due to its name, as it primarily preys on small mammals rather than fish. Despite its cat-like size and striking, slender form, the Fisher belongs to the Weasel family and is characterized by its rarity, energy, and playful nature, making it an unlikely but captivating animal subject. The narrative follows the remarkable story of an orphaned pair of these predators, rescued and subsequently adopted into the family of host Marty Stouffer. Viewers witness their upbringing alongside Stouffer's daughter, Hannah, offering an intimate look at interspecies cohabitation and the natural behaviors of these spirited animals within a domestic setting.
