THE LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS

Cinemavixion Review

Seymour Krelborn, a meek Skid Row florist assistant, harbors a secret love for his co-worker Audrey and an even more secret creation: a bizarre, man-eating plant named Audrey II. This musical horror-comedy, renowned for its dark humor and infectious songs, delves into themes of ambition, morality, and the consequences of unchecked desire. Rick Moranis delivers a wonderfully understated performance as the naive Seymour, whose life spirals hilariously out of control as he attempts to appease his increasingly demanding floral companion. The film masterfully blends genuine scares with laugh-out-loud moments, creating a unique cinematic experience that has charmed audiences for decades. Its blend of camp, catchy tunes, and a surprisingly poignant story makes it a cult classic worth revisiting.
