MY GRANDPA IS A VAMPIRE

Cinemavixion Review

Al Lewis, a beloved icon from "The Munsters," delivers a performance that is both endearing and "particularly demented" in "My Grandpa Is A Vampire." This 1992 New Zealand comedy-drama offers a unique twist on the vampire mythos, presenting a grandfather who is a creature of the night but fundamentally good. The film explores the unexpected bond between a visiting grandson and his undead relative, navigating the challenges of keeping such a significant secret. While perhaps not a blockbuster, the film's charm lies in its unconventional premise and Lewis's memorable portrayal, making it a curious and often amusing watch for those seeking a lighter take on supernatural tales.
