THE BAD NUN

Cinemavixion Review

Scott Jeffrey's 'The Bad Nun' plunges viewers into a chilling narrative set within an isolated convent, repurposed into a serene bed and breakfast. The film masterfully builds suspense as a young woman's peaceful retreat is shattered by the arrival of a mysterious nun whose intentions grow increasingly sinister. The atmosphere is thick with dread, amplified by the secluded setting and the unsettling presence of the titular character. Performances from Becca Hirani, Lucy Chappell, and Chris Kaye anchor the escalating terror, drawing the audience into the protagonist's mounting fear. While the external data suggests a runtime and a specific release date, the core of the film remains a taut exploration of psychological horror, where sanctuary transforms into a trap. It's a compelling watch for those who appreciate slow-burn tension and a classic horror setup executed with palpable unease.
