THE 16TH EPISODE

Cinemavixion Review

In "The 16th Episode," director Jérôme Cohen-Olivar presents a contemporary tale of ambition and the supernatural. The narrative follows three aspiring YouTubers who venture into the legendary city of Casablanca, seeking viral fame for their adventure channel. However, their quest for content quickly devolves into a fight for survival as they stumble upon a dark, hidden secret within the city's ancient walls. Starring Rebecca Ramon, Einar Kuusk, and Aouatefe Lahmani, the film explores the often-unseen consequences of chasing online notoriety, blending elements of adventure with a chilling undertone of horror. While the premise promises a modern twist on urban legends, the execution aims to deliver a suspenseful journey into the unknown, questioning the lengths one might go for digital stardom.
