OLIVER HARDY & LARRY SEMON: THE PERFECT CLOWN

Cinemavixion Review

This short, presumably from the silent era, presents a simple premise: a clerk tasked with a significant bank deposit finds himself in a predicament when the bank is closed. The narrative follows his attempts to reach the bank president's residence with the $10,000, offering a glimpse into the comedic potential of such a situation. While details on director and precise year are absent, the presence of legendary comedians Oliver Hardy and Larry Semon suggests a foundation for physical comedy and character-driven humor, characteristic of their respective styles. The film likely explores themes of responsibility, urgency, and the potential for mishaps when dealing with large sums of money in less-than-ideal circumstances.
