JOSH KIRBY: TIME WARRIOR! CHAP. 2: THE HUMAN PETS

Cinemavixion Review

The second installment in the "Josh Kirby: Time Warrior" saga, "Chap. 2: The Human Pets" (1995), plunges viewers into a bizarre future where our young protagonists find themselves in the unexpected role of playthings for an extraterrestrial giant. Directed by Frank Arnold, this adventure, starring Corbin Allred, Jennifer Burns, and Derek Webster, leans into its science-fiction premise with a story that sees Josh and his companions transported to the year 70,379. There, they become the unwilling toys of an alien being who orchestrates battles among his collection of sentient playthings. While the external data provides a plot summary that aligns with the local description, the film's IMDb rating of 5.9/10 suggests a mixed reception, though its unique concept offers a campy, imaginative romp for fans of pulpy sci-fi adventures.
