JOSH KIRBY: TIME WARRIOR! CHAP. 1: PLANET OF THE DINO-KNIGHTS

Cinemavixion Review

Ernest Farino's "Josh Kirby: Time Warrior! Chap. 1: Planet of the Dino-Knights" plunges viewers into a thrilling 25th-century conflict where the fate of the universe hangs precariously in the balance. The narrative expertly weaves together elements of science fiction and adventure, following the unlikely alliance between a contemporary teenager, Josh Kirby, and a seasoned warrior, Azabeth Siege, as they race against the nefarious Dr. Zoetrope. The film's premise, centered on scattered pieces of a universe-destroying device, provides a compelling hook, enhanced by the vibrant world-building and the dynamic interplay between its characters. Corbin Allred and Jennifer Burns deliver engaging performances, anchoring the fantastical plot with relatable human elements. While the film embraces its B-movie charm, it offers a surprisingly intricate plot and a sense of urgency that keeps audiences invested in the cosmic stakes.
