HARPOON

Cinemavixion Review

Rob Grant's "Harpoon" plunges viewers into a claustrophobic psychological thriller where a seemingly idyllic yacht trip becomes a crucible for simmering resentments and devastating betrayals. The film masterfully navigates the treacherous waters of friendship, love, and deceit, as three companions find themselves stranded with their darkest secrets threatening to surface. Anchored by strong performances from Munro Chambers, Chris Gray, and Emily Tyra, the narrative skillfully ratchets up tension, transforming the vast ocean into an inescapable prison. With a sharp script and a keen eye for the unraveling of human relationships, "Harpoon" offers a compelling, albeit unsettling, examination of how close bonds can fracture under pressure. Its blend of dark humor and genuine suspense makes for a memorable cinematic experience that lingers long after the credits roll.
