DEAD SOUND

Cinemavixion Review

This tense thriller plunges viewers into a harrowing ordeal, drawing inspiration from a chilling true story. "Dead Sound" chronicles the terrifying experience of college friends who, after missing their ferry, find themselves at the mercy of a sinister fishing boat crew. The film masterfully builds suspense as a desperate fight for survival unfolds on the treacherous waters of Long Island Sound. While the director's vision is palpable, the true strength lies in the committed performances from the cast, particularly Jeff Kober, Matty Cardarople, and Caroline Day, who navigate the escalating dread with compelling intensity. The narrative's grim premise and the raw execution create a gripping cat-and-mouse game that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats, questioning what one would do when pushed to the absolute limit.
