Dan Garcia's "Terror Trap" plunges viewers into a suffocatingly tense scenario, masterfully exploiting the isolation of rural Louisiana to craft a chilling survival thriller. The narrative centers on Don and Nancy, a couple whose car trouble becomes a gateway to a nightmarish ordeal orchestrated by the seemingly helpful, yet sinister, Sheriff Taylor and the motel proprietor, Carter. David James Elliott and Heather Marie Marsden deliver compelling performances as the increasingly desperate protagonists, their vulnerability amplified by the palpable menace emanating from Michael Madsen and Jeff Fahey.
