CAPTAIN HAGEN'S BED & BREAKFAST

Cinemavixion Review

Rafael Friedan's "Captain Hagen's Bed & Breakfast" offers a quirky and raunchy comedic romp through the Hamptons, where eight guests seeking luxury find themselves at a dilapidated establishment run by an eccentric sea captain and his peculiar family. The film, released in 2018, charts the guests' pursuit of romantic and sexual escapades with hilariously unexpected outcomes. While the plot promises a blend of raunchy humor and heartwarming moments, the critical reception, as indicated by a 4.5/10 rating on IMDb, suggests a mixed bag. Despite its shortcomings, the film's unique premise and commitment to its comedic vision make it a potentially entertaining, albeit unconventional, watch for those seeking a departure from typical romantic comedies.
