WHATEVER MAKES YOU HAPPY

Cinemavixion Review

This independent drama, inspired by the timeless themes of Tolstoy's 'Anna Karenina,' delves into the complexities of modern relationships with a focus on urban twenty-somethings. The narrative centers on Anna, a studious graduate student, and Alex, a free-spirited musician, whose chance encounter ignites a passionate and perilous affair. The film adeptly explores the suffocating nature of dissatisfaction and the destructive consequences of infidelity, posing a poignant question about whether love can truly conquer the damage wrought by betrayal. While the director and cast are not detailed in the local data, the external information suggests A.T. Sayre helmed this exploration of romantic entanglement, with a cast including Rachel Delante and Tyler Peck. The film's premise promises a compelling character study, inviting audiences to ponder the sacrifices made in the pursuit of happiness.
