BIG FOOT

Cinemavixion Review

Robert F. Slatzer's "Bigfoot" from 1970 presents a curious blend of B-movie creature feature and wilderness thriller. The film posits the existence of the legendary Sasquatch, a creature of immense size and mystery, often referred to as the "King of the Woods." The narrative centers on a group of hunters driven by the prospect of capturing Bigfoot for profit, a motive that takes a dark turn when a young woman vanishes, presumed to be taken by the creature. Adding to the intrigue, a group of college students and a skeptical sheriff become entangled in the search, raising the question of whether a centuries-old legend has indeed come to life. Starring the iconic John Carradine, the film, despite its low-budget origins, attempts to tap into the enduring fascination with cryptids and the unknown lurking in the wild.
