FLEE THE LIGHT

Cinemavixion Review

Alexandra Senza's "Flee the Light" plunges into the psychological abyss, offering a chilling narrative that blurs the lines between mental illness and supernatural horror. The film centers on a psychology student's desperate attempt to heal her sister, a mission that tragically unearths a malevolent, ancient entity. The performances, particularly from Annie Tuma and Ariana Marquis, anchor the film's descent into dread, portraying the sisters' deteriorating mental states with unnerving authenticity. While the external data indicates a modest 2.7 rating on IMDb, the film's strength lies in its atmospheric tension and its exploration of familial bonds under extreme duress. "Flee the Light" is a compelling, albeit dark, dive into the shadows of the mind and the terrors that can lurk within.
