BEING TRUMP

Cinemavixion Review

Jason Campbell's "Being Trump" presents a whimsical, albeit improbable, vision of presidential ambition extending beyond terrestrial bounds. The film posits a scenario where President Donald Trump, driven by an audacious desire to be the first man on Mars, grapples with the constitutional implications of a Commander-in-Chief venturing off-world. The narrative, featuring Will Stauff, Tim Ross, and Katherine Shaw in key roles, humorously explores the logistical and political absurdities that would ensue, questioning whether a presidential impersonator might be the only solution to this unprecedented cosmic endeavor. While the film is a lighthearted comedy, it taps into contemporary political satire, offering a unique perspective on power and legacy, all wrapped in a narrative that feels both farcical and strangely plausible in its premise.
