APOCALYPSE LOVE

Cinemavixion Review

In 'APOCALYPSE LOVE,' director Vera VanGuard crafts a unique blend of gothic romance and sci-fi horror. The film plunges viewers into the desolate world of Tom, a grieving young man ostracized after the tragic death of his girlfriend, BB. His solitary existence, marked by the creation of death metal love songs by her grave, is violently disrupted by an alien invasion that reanimates the dead. Tom finds himself in a desperate fight not only for survival against zombies, aliens, and apocalyptic forces but also against his own yearning to bring BB back. The narrative skillfully navigates themes of loss, obsession, and the desperate measures one might take when faced with insurmountable grief, all set against a backdrop of intergalactic warfare and the undead rising. David Lorigo delivers a compelling performance as the tormented Tom, supported by Vera VanGuard and Bobby McGee in key roles.
