PARALLEL MINDS

Cinemavixion Review

In "Parallel Minds," director Benjamin Ross Hayden crafts a near-future narrative that probes the very essence of memory and identity. The film centers on a groundbreaking contact lens technology capable of recording visual experiences, a concept that becomes a focal point for both innovation and intrigue. As a detective and researcher delve into the implications of this technology, they uncover a complex web surrounding its development. The performances by Greg Bryk, Tommie-Amber Pirie, and Neil Napier anchor the film, navigating the ethical quandaries and psychological depths presented by the story. Hayden's direction skillfully builds a sense of unease, questioning the reliability of our own recollections and the potential for artificial reconstruction. It’s a thought-provoking exploration of consciousness in an increasingly digitized world, urging viewers to consider the boundaries between lived experience and manufactured memory.
