ZOMBIE PLAGUE: MUTANT ZONE

Cinemavixion Review

Pablo Parés and Hernán Sáez's "ZOMBIE PLAGUE: MUTANT ZONE" plunges viewers into a chilling post-apocalyptic scenario. The film masterfully crafts a tense atmosphere as its protagonists, medical student Bill (also played by Parés), ex-wrestler John West (Parés again), and the resourceful Max (Sáez), find themselves trapped in a quarantined town overrun by the undead. The narrative, ignited by an alien virus, focuses on the raw struggle for survival and the desperate search for an escape. Parés and Sáez, who also direct, deliver a compelling performance, anchoring the film with their portrayals of characters pushed to their limits. The film's strength lies in its claustrophobic setting and the relentless pursuit of safety against overwhelming odds, offering a gritty and engaging take on the zombie genre.
