A MAN, A WOMAN, AND A REALLY BAD IDEA

Cinemavixion Review

In 'A Man, A Woman, and a Really Bad Idea,' director David Haskell presents a charming romantic comedy that plays on the classic trope of opposites attracting. The film centers on Jason, portrayed by Brent Morin, a man with an ambitious, albeit unprepared, dream of escaping city life for a year in the wilderness. His meticulously planned solitude is unexpectedly interrupted by the arrival of Mona, played by Sasheer Zamata, a woman whose own life has taken a chaotic turn. Their burgeoning romance forms the core of the narrative, forcing Jason to confront whether his lifelong ambition outweighs the genuine connection he finds with Mona. The film offers a humorous look at self-discovery and the unexpected paths love can take, blending comedic scenarios with genuine emotional depth.
