Florence Rice

Florence Rice was a quintessential Hollywood ingénue of the 1930s, gracing the silver screen with a wholesome charm. Though her film career was brief, she brought a reliable sweetness to a variety of roles, often in light comedies for MGM. She shared the screen with frequent co-star Robert Young in films like 'Married Before Breakfast' and 'Paradise for Three.' Rice's most... more memorable appearance was as the singing ingénue in the Marx Brothers' 'At the Circus.' Transitioning to radio and television after her film work, Rice left an indelible mark as a charming presence in a bygone era of Hollywood. less
