YESTERDAY: ZOMBIE OUTBREAK

Cinemavixion Review

Rob Grant's 'YESTERDAY: ZOMBIE OUTBREAK' plunges viewers into a harrowing scenario where six disparate individuals must unite against a city-wide zombie infestation. The initial premise promises a tense survival thriller, as the group navigates the immediate chaos and seeks refuge. However, the film pivots intriguingly, shifting the focus from the external threat of the undead to the internal conflicts and burgeoning paranoia within the group. As they establish a fragile sanctuary in the wilderness, the true horror emerges not from the shambling corpses, but from the fractured trust and escalating tensions among the survivors themselves. This exploration of human nature under duress elevates the narrative beyond a typical zombie flick, offering a compelling study of fear, suspicion, and the primal instincts that surface when civilization crumbles.
