WOMEN IN THE MAFIA: THE SECRET LIVES

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary, "Women In The Mafia: The Secret Lives," offers a rare and often sobering glimpse into the lives of the women connected to organized crime figures. It delves into the experiences of wives, daughters, and girlfriends, many of whom are speaking publicly for the first time. The film suggests a complex reality where these women find themselves ensnared by the allure of wealth and power, often in circumstances they did not actively choose and from which escape is difficult. The narrative highlights the profound impact of their associations, painting a picture of lives irrevocably shaped by the world of gangsters, money, and influence.
