WHY IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO COOL DOWN LONDON UNDERGROUND

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary plunges viewers into the sweltering reality of the London Underground during the heatwave of summer 2002. It sheds light on the often-overlooked challenges faced by the dedicated individuals who keep the city's vital transport network functioning under extreme conditions. The narrative highlights not only the struggle against the heat, which made the tube an average of 10 degrees hotter than the outside air, but also touches upon the diverse range of issues encountered, from industrial actions to essential repairs. By focusing on the 'unsung heroes,' the film offers a compelling look at the resilience and commitment required to maintain such a complex system, especially during a period of significant adversity. It's a fascinating glimpse into the unseen efforts that ensure London keeps moving.
