THE TUBE

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary offers an unflinching look at the often-overlooked realities faced by the staff of the London Underground. The year 2002 is depicted as a period of significant challenge, marked by events ranging from strikes and repairs to the somber reality of over 50 individuals tragically losing their lives beneath the trains. The film humanizes the "unsung heroes" who ensure the daily operation of this vital transit system, portraying their dedication amidst difficult circumstances. It delves into the human impact of their work, highlighting the resilience and professionalism required to manage the fallout from tragic incidents and maintain essential services. "The Tube" serves as a compelling portrait of the people behind the scenes, whose efforts are crucial to the functioning of one of the world's busiest urban networks.
