WHY DID THIS DECORATED VETERAN BECOME A SERIAL KILLER? | CONFESSIONS OF CRIME | ABSOLUTE CRIME

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the disturbing psyche of Manuel Pardo, an ex-Miami police officer whose transition from law enforcement to serial killer is explored through his own chilling videotaped confession. The film probes the complex ethical boundaries between justice and vigilantism, questioning where the line is drawn when an officer decides to enforce his own brand of retribution. Pardo's unnerving admission that he would repeat his actions, coupled with interviews from his death row cell, offers a stark and unsettling look at a mind that perceives its horrific deeds as justified. It challenges viewers to confront the darker aspects of human nature and the potential for corruption within systems designed to protect.
