Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the unsettling reality of psychopathy, moving beyond sensationalized media portrayals to explore the genuine societal impact of individuals who lack remorse and empathy. Titled 'In The Shadow Of Feeling,' the film investigates the complex factors contributing to the development of psychopathic traits, including genetic predispositions, upbringing, and societal influences like consumerism. Through insightful interviews with professionals, doctors, and even an individual identifying as a psychopath, the documentary aims to educate the public on identifying and understanding these individuals. It highlights that psychopathy is not confined to criminal elements, with a significant percentage operating within various societal roles. The film poses a critical question: can the roots of psychopathy be identified and addressed early on to mitigate its pervasive effects on personal relationships and society at large?
