WE FOUND SOMETHING

Cinemavixion Review

Jesse Heisel's "We Found Something" plunges viewers into a chilling encounter deep within the woods, transforming a personal journey of overcoming fear into a fight for survival. The film masterfully blends the intimacy of a found-footage narrative with the escalating dread of an unknown threat. As Ted and Maxie embark on a rock climbing expedition intended to conquer Ted's acrophobia, their adventure takes a terrifying detour when they stumble upon an enigmatic creature. The narrative cleverly uses the discovered footage format to build suspense, drawing the audience into the protagonists' unfolding nightmare. The performances by Leslie Gladney, Nathan Owen, and Sreejith Nair ground the fantastical elements in palpable fear and desperation. While the IMDb rating suggests a divisive reception, the film's premise offers a compelling exploration of how confronting personal demons can lead to facing far greater, primal dangers.
