WALK AWAY

Cinemavixion Review

In "Walk Away" (2020), directors Jason Egan and Matthew Nash present a chilling premise where a group of five friends on a secluded cabin getaway discover that their departure is far from straightforward. The film, starring Alyssa Talbot, Faith Kelly, and Ben Bocko, delves into a suspenseful narrative that transforms a simple vacation into a desperate struggle for escape. While the film has garnered some attention, including four wins according to external sources, its reception on platforms like IMDb suggests a mixed audience response with a 4.0 rating. This independent thriller offers a compelling hook, exploring themes of entrapment and the terrifying realization that freedom might be an illusion. For fans of contained horror and psychological suspense, "Walk Away" provides an intriguing, albeit divisive, cinematic experience that questions the very nature of leaving.
