TWINKY

Cinemavixion Review

Richard Donner's 1970 film 'Twinky' presents a provocative premise: the marital complexities faced by a 38-year-old American novelist wed to a 16-year-old British schoolgirl. Starring Charles Bronson, Orson Bean, Honor Blackman, and Susan George, the film delves into the inherent power dynamics and societal taboos surrounding such a union. While the subject matter is undeniably sensitive, Donner's direction, coupled with the performances, aims to explore the unconventional relationship and its ramifications, offering a potentially challenging yet thought-provoking cinematic experience.
