TRUST NO 1

Cinemavixion Review

Daron Niemerow's "Trust No 1" plunges viewers into a gripping mystery, anchored by Douglas Rouillard's compelling performance as Officer Bradley. The film masterfully weaves a narrative of escalating dread as Bradley investigates a series of murders that quickly transcend the scope of a typical serial killer case. The plot, hinting at a larger conspiracy tied to the Y2K era and a missing, high-stakes drive, keeps the audience guessing. Niemerow's direction builds palpable tension, supported by a solid cast including Britton Purvis and Charles Justo, who contribute effectively to the film's suspenseful atmosphere. While the IMDb rating suggests a niche appeal, the film offers a thought-provoking thriller for those who appreciate intricate plotting and a descent into paranoia where trust is a luxury no one can afford.
