TRUST ME | NORWAY'S ZUCKERBERG SCAM | THE LIES THAT BUILT AN EMPIRE

Cinemavixion Review

Emil Trier's "Trust Me | Norway's Zuckerberg Scam" offers a compelling, albeit unsettling, deep dive into the meteoric rise and catastrophic fall of Waleed Ahmed, often dubbed Norway's answer to Mark Zuckerberg. The documentary meticulously chronicles Ahmed's journey from the playground to the courtroom, painting a portrait of ambition that spiraled into elaborate deception. Through a skillful blend of archival footage and contemporary interviews with Ahmed, his family, and friends, Trier crafts a narrative that exposes the fragile foundations of fabricated success. It's a stark reminder of how potent the allure of dreams can be, and the brutal consequences when those dreams collide with an unyielding reality. "Trust Me" is a gripping true story that questions the very nature of perception and the devastating impact of lies.
