TRIAL BY MEDIA

Cinemavixion Review

In the high-stakes world of politics and public perception, 'Trial By Media' offers a compelling narrative of ambition derailed by scrutiny. Christine Lahti delivers a nuanced performance as a doctor poised for political ascent, whose career is jeopardized by an intense media frenzy. The film adeptly explores the pressures faced by public figures, as a seemingly minor oversight escalates into a full-blown character assassination. Directed by Sheldon Larry, the drama unfolds with a steady pace, highlighting the delicate balance between public service and personal vulnerability. While the external data indicates a mixed reception with a 5.5/10 rating on IMDb, the film's exploration of media ethics and political maneuvering remains relevant, making it a worthwhile watch for those interested in the intersection of power and public opinion.
