BLONDE FIST

Cinemavixion Review

Margi Clarke delivers a powerhouse performance in 'Blonde Fist,' a cult classic that plunges audiences into the gritty world of professional female boxing. Clarke embodies a single mother from Liverpool who seeks a new life in New York, only to discover an unlikely path to success and self-determination within the brutal, yet captivating, sport. Directed by Frank Clarke, the film, released in 1991, skillfully balances the raw physicality of boxing with the emotional depth of its protagonist's journey. While critical reception may be mixed, the film's unique premise and Clarke's compelling portrayal make it a noteworthy watch for those seeking stories of resilience and unexpected triumph against the odds. It's a testament to finding strength in the most unconventional arenas.
