TIME TO SHINE

Cinemavixion Review

Matthias J. Johnson's 'Time To Shine' offers a compelling narrative that grapples with the enduring struggles of peer pressure and the unexpected consequences of time displacement. The film follows Shawn as he navigates not only the challenges of his present environment but also the perilous landscape of ancient history, where his attempts to improve his circumstances inadvertently create new adversities. This intriguing premise, bolstered by a solid performance from the director himself and a supporting cast including Meredith Johnson, explores themes of fate, consequence, and the search for a brighter future. While the IMDb rating suggests a modest reception, the film’s unique plot and its exploration of historical settings amidst personal growth warrant a viewing for those intrigued by imaginative storytelling and character-driven drama.
