THICK AS THIEVES

Cinemavixion Review

This gritty action thriller plunges viewers into the shadowy depths of the criminal underworld, delivering a narrative as compelling as its influences, 'Den of Thieves' and 'The Long Good Friday.' The plot centers on a dangerous mission orchestrated by Dave, targeting a figure from his past, Kincaid. When the operation unravels spectacularly, the survival of the crew hinges on an unlikely alliance formed between Holsten and an outsider named Rob. Their burgeoning bond, 'thick as thieves,' forms the emotional core amidst escalating chaos. Directed by Lloyd Tate II, the film features a cast including Brandon Michaels and James Ladd, who navigate betrayals and explosive confrontations. While the IMDb rating suggests a niche appeal, the film's commitment to a raw, visceral experience makes it a noteworthy watch for fans of intense crime dramas.
