Sylas Dall's "They Reach" plunges viewers into the unsettling atmosphere of 1979, where the innocence of a 13-year-old science enthusiast is shattered by a malevolent force. The discovery of a possessed tape player sets in motion a chilling chain of events, transforming a quiet town into a battleground against a demonic entity. The film deftly blends elements of supernatural horror with the coming-of-age narrative, as the young protagonist, alongside her two loyal friends, must confront the encroaching darkness.
