THE UNWELCOME

Cinemavixion Review

Keith R. Robinson's "The Unwelcome" plunges viewers into a world of escalating dread, offering a chilling supernatural thriller that delves into the personal cost of confronting the unknown. The narrative follows two paranormal investigators as they aid a young woman tormented by poltergeist activity, only to discover the haunting's roots are far more intimate and perilous than initially assumed. Robinson masterfully builds suspense, weaving a tale where the spectral threat becomes a visceral manifestation of deeper psychological turmoil. The performances, particularly from Sinead Bannister, Michael Cicchilo, and Lea Garner, ground the supernatural elements in palpable human fear and desperation. While the film's IMDb rating suggests a polarizing reception, its tight pacing and atmospheric tension make it a compelling watch for fans of the genre seeking a story that is both terrifying and emotionally resonant.
