THE SHOCKING MURDER OF RILEY CROSSMAN | KILLERS CAUGHT ON CAMERA

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the harrowing disappearance of Riley Crossman, a West Virginia high school student whose 2019 vanishing sent shockwaves through her community. The narrative skillfully pieces together the initial fear of her family with the grim discovery of bloodstains in Riley's room, escalating the urgency of the investigation. Suspicious text messages sent shortly before she went missing provide a chilling clue, suggesting the perpetrator might have been someone close, perhaps even under the same roof. The film also interweaves a parallel story from the UK during the COVID-19 pandemic, where a routine traffic stop uncovers a disturbing discovery within a vehicle, highlighting the unexpected places darkness can hide. It's a stark reminder of the vulnerabilities that can exist even within familiar surroundings, presented with a compelling, investigative tone.
