THE RODEO THIEF

Cinemavixion Review

Brett Bentman's 'The Rodeo Thief' presents a gritty narrative centered on a former bull rider, whose physical limitations force him into a dangerous pact with a loan shark. Thom Hallum delivers a compelling performance as the protagonist, grappling with the twilight of his rodeo career and the moral compromises demanded by his circumstances. The film effectively captures the unforgiving world of professional rodeo and the desperate measures individuals will take when cornered. While the plot delves into themes of redemption and consequence, it's the raw portrayal of a man fighting against his own limitations and external pressures that truly resonates. The supporting cast, including Robert Keith and Sam Marra, provide solid anchors to the story's more somber tones, making this a worthwhile watch for fans of character-driven dramas set against a Western backdrop.
