THE MCFALLS

Cinemavixion Review

"The McFalls" presents a sharp, albeit familiar, examination of the modern career woman's dilemma. Mildred, portrayed with an aggressive drive, finds herself increasingly detached from her family, a predicament that spirals into delightful chaos. The narrative unfolds through a zany chain of events, cleverly designed to jolt Mildred into a profound realization: her professional ambitions, while significant, cannot overshadow the foundational importance of her family. This 1989 domestic comedy, driven by a strong central performance, offers a timely reminder of work-life balance, ultimately celebrating the enduring strength of familial bonds amidst the pressures of professional life. The film resonates with a heartwarming message, encouraging viewers to cherish their loved ones while pursuing their goals.
