THE LIBERATOR

Cinemavixion Review

Ben Lettieri's 'The Liberator' plunges viewers into a high-stakes, martial arts-infused quest. The narrative centers on Ben Silver, a man known as The Liberator, tasked with recovering a valuable stolen artifact within a tight deadline for his enigmatic client, Melinda Page, a former cat burglar. Lettieri, who also stars in the lead role, crafts an adventure that, while perhaps leaning into genre conventions, offers a brisk pace and focused plot. The film's strength lies in its commitment to its action premise, delivering a straightforward yet engaging story of retrieval and redemption. For fans of contained action thrillers with a martial arts edge, 'The Liberator' provides a competent and entertaining ride, showcasing Lettieri's vision both behind and in front of the camera.
