THE KANGAROO GANG: THIEVES BY APPOINTMENT

Cinemavixion Review

Narrated with inimitable flair by Barry Humphries, "The Kangaroo Gang: Thieves By Appointment" plunges viewers into the audacious world of a notorious Australian criminal outfit that transplanted its daring heists to the glamorous, yet grimy, streets of 1960s London. This dramatised documentary, emerging from the same creative minds behind "Tough Nuts: Australia's Hardest Criminals," masterfully blends historical reconstructions with compelling interviews and archival footage. Based on the acclaimed book by Adam [Author's name missing in local data], the film reconstructs the thrilling escapades that left Scotland Yard baffled. It's a captivating exploration of a unique chapter in criminal history, brought to life by Humphries's iconic voice, offering a fascinating glimpse into a bygone era of audacious thievery and the colourful characters who defined it.
