THE ICE DEMON

Cinemavixion Review

The Ice Demon plunges viewers into a chilling narrative of a family shattered by the inexplicable return of a man presumed lost. His comatose presence, years after vanishing, acts as a catalyst for unsettling supernatural events, transforming a supposed homecoming into a descent into terror. The film masterfully builds suspense, weaving a tapestry of dread around the man's mysterious condition and the escalating paranormal activity. The performances, particularly from Alina Babak and Olga Lomonosova, anchor the emotional turmoil of a family grappling with the unfathomable. Directed by Ivan Kapitonov and Cindy Robinson, this Russian thriller is a stark exploration of grief, the uncanny, and the darkness that can lurk beneath the surface of the ordinary. While its IMDb rating suggests a divisive reception, the premise alone offers a compelling, eerie experience for fans of supernatural horror.
