Jimmyo Burril's "The Good Sisters" plunges viewers into a chilling suburban landscape where arcane secrets fester beneath a veneer of normalcy. The film masterfully intertwines themes of familial loyalty with the pervasive dread of the unknown, as two sisters, practitioners of witchcraft, find their hidden lives threatened by a mysterious new neighbor. Debbie Rochon and April Monique Burril deliver compelling performances, embodying the sisters' struggle to protect their clandestine world. The narrative thrives on an escalating sense of paranoia, expertly building suspense around the enigmatic presence next door.
