THE GHOST LIGHTS

Cinemavixion Review

Timothy Stevens' "The Ghost Lights" (2022) offers a compelling blend of mystery and the uncanny, set against the vast, evocative landscapes of West Texas. The film follows a journalist who, upon returning home after her father's passing, stumbles upon a cryptic cassette tape. This discovery ignites a journey into the unknown, as the tape details mysterious disappearances and unexplained aerial phenomena. Driven by a desire to connect with her father's memory and uncover the truth, she embarks on a cross-state road trip that promises to unravel secrets both personal and otherworldly. While the film may not have garnered widespread awards, its intriguing premise and atmospheric setting, as hinted at in its synopsis, make it a potentially captivating watch for fans of sci-fi mysteries. The inclusion of actors like Ryan Bijan, Billy Blair, and Madison Calhoun suggests a grounded performance base for this exploration of the unexplained.
