DEVIL'S WITNESS

Cinemavixion Review

This independent horror offering delves into the unsettling intersection of youthful escapism and ancient malevolence. Set against the picturesque backdrop of an Italian vacation, the narrative quickly pivots as two college girls stumble upon a ritualistic practice far removed from their understanding. The film effectively builds tension, transforming a seemingly idyllic getaway into a desperate fight for survival where the prey must become the hunters. While the IMDb rating suggests a niche appeal, the premise offers a compelling exploration of how innocence can confront primal fears. Director Chris Casuaci navigates this shift with a focus on atmosphere, promising a chilling experience for those drawn to dark folklore and survival thrillers.
