THE FALL OF THE BERLIN WALL: WHAT HAPPENED?

Cinemavixion Review

This compelling series, narrated by the acclaimed Matthew Rhys, delves into the profound impact of physical and ideological divisions across the globe. Filmed in striking 4K, it examines six iconic walls and borders, including the US-Mexico border, the Korean DMZ, the Israel-Palestine Separation Barrier, Northern Ireland's sectarian walls, Cyprus' Green Line, and the historic Berlin Wall. The documentary masterfully uncovers the human narratives entwined with these structures, questioning their necessity, their effect on daily lives, and the aftermath of their dismantling. It is a powerful exploration of division and the enduring human spirit's capacity for hope and unity, demonstrating resilience in the face of separation.
