THE DUMMY 2: THE POSSESSED DOLL

Cinemavixion Review

Dustin Ferguson's "The Dummy 2: The Possessed Doll" plunges viewers into a familiar horror trope: a possessed object with a malevolent agenda. The narrative follows a group of friends who, after being captivated by a horror film depicting murders by a possessed dummy, seek out the real artifact. Their ill-fated attempt to resurrect a spirit via a séance backfires spectacularly, as the dummy animates of its own accord, setting the stage for terror. While the premise leans into established horror conventions, the film's exploration of the consequences of meddling with the supernatural offers a potentially chilling, if predictable, descent into fear. The setup promises a direct confrontation with the evil entity, driven by the characters' hubris and the dummy's independent awakening.
