THE DEADLY JOURNEY OF A WOMAN SEEKING JUSTICE

Cinemavixion Review

Mikhail Red's "The deadly journey of a woman seeking justice" plunges viewers into a harrowing ordeal, anchored by a compelling performance from Maja Salvador. As a policewoman forced to confront the ghosts of history by retracing the infamous Bataan Death March route, Salvador embodies resilience against overwhelming odds. The film masterfully uses its setting to amplify the protagonist's desperate fight for survival against relentless pursuers. Shella Mae Romualdo and Mon Confiado provide formidable support, intensifying the tension. Red crafts a visceral experience, blending elements of action and survival thriller with a profound exploration of endurance and the unyielding pursuit of justice. It's a testament to the human spirit pushed to its absolute limits.
